What's wrong with wasting time? You've got nowhere to go There's nowhere we can be There's nothing you should know A spider on a leaf Hangs clinging from a tree That stands upon a hill And looks out to the sea My arms are waiting To shield the wind that blows

In the Dome Of Your Head Do you recall what I said? In the dome of your head Do you swallow what you're sold? All those things you've been told Half truths half lies Fragments & compromise Pretence pretext Your words out of context Do you recall what I said? In the dome of your head. Travel backwards into time Days have promise hours chimed A million blossoms kiss the earth A million deaths a million rebirths Why then don't you yet understand? The truth that sits in the palm of your hand Travel backwards into time Days have promise hours chime.. Cast a wide net & reel in your past Your deeds are impressive Your influence vast Just consider in your blackest of moods The impossible thought Of a world without you Indulge me now or I'll burst your head open Your pencil has lead but your fingers are broken The words on your lips They are there to be spoken It's LOVE..

He drinks in the bar room He leans in the corner The smoke starts to clear He looks up he sees her Resurrection Mary So cold & scary Don't you run from me now Stay with me now Her blue eyes & black hair Her pale skin & cold stare He's calling he needs her She's falling he sees her Resurrection Mary.. Resurrection I love you.. They're dancing He held her He wanted her with him forever Though Mary's eyes they look right through him He said I'll drive you home safely Well she grabbed his shirt now She said 'stop the car' She just ran out of his life Into resurrection graveyard Resurrection I love you Resurrection.. Someone saw a girl dressed in white Locked inside the gate Someone saw Jerry dancing with a girl Heading for another stay Someone left their prints Up on the bars of the graveyard Well Mary was that you? Resurrection..

Let your tears fall down And finish what you came to say You're tired & you seem to be caught up in something Through the onslaught of a razor edged & frenzied day You clutch a faded satin flower And the reasons seem unclear And the reasons seem obscure But I.. I.. I.. Cos you oughta be in that film Life was never meant to be easy All cut & dried Promises were made to be denied You can scratch your eyes And pull your hair out by the roots You see time Time is on your side I.. I.. You oughta be in that film Close the door behind you Don't forget first left on Pain Street Tinsel town Ask the girl behind the desk for file 175 A chemical reactionary Where they teach you how to be Like a man in file 103 Make you into some great pillar of society Well I'd hate you being like that But you oughta be in that film Sing you are alive Sing your song to me You oughta be in that film

Fired 04:08
Day breaks It was another day Like any day before Hard times Had half a mind To spend it on the floor Come home Yeah you should see what you missed.. Truth is I wanna take I wanna give Look close I wanna show You how I live Come home Yeah you should see what you missed.. Put your eyes back in your sockets Let your fingers do the walking Stand up Kick back Anti-climax a gift occurs Swallow or burst Sign out sign on Where did you come from I line a thought A loophole in the law And we're climbing Onwards upwards Inwards to the peak To the top To the start of the decline Into outer space Inner space Deansgate to St Petersgate Bloodied sullied Angry worried And Fired.. Learning Are you gonna eat it up Or throw it all away? Are you gonna spit it out Or keep a sullen face? Come home Yeah you should see what you missed..

Goodbye Mr Simpson It's been a pleasure knowing you We were kindred spirits I knew what you went through In the day you loved a woman In the night you loved a man You might have been accepted In any other town But not here We don't hear.. Goodbye Edgar Alan It's been an education knowing you A lifetime in a stupor I can identify with you You have faced nocturnal demons You chased unrequited love You might have been accepted But you were never good enough But not here We don't hear.. For them that go without For them that live in doubt For them that never stood a chance For them that never lost Hopefully they've given up hope.. Goodbye sugar baby Goodbye honey pie Just keep talking nonsense And hopefully you'll die You might rubbish all our efforts You might murder our ideas You can peddle your corruption But you will never see a tear Not here We don't hear.. For them that go without.. Goodbye sugar baby Goodbye honey pie Just keep talking nonsense And hopefully you'll die In the day he loved a woman In the night He loved a man

You were talking to somebody About something you were told You were talking like baby You were feeling feeling old Listen to the voice Missing all the points Polishing the trophies again As you jostle for position And almost buckle from the strain Your belly's in knots Your feet feel like lead It's hard to accept that you can't raise the dead.. In remembrance of a memory You remembered that name And he honoured that achievement By suggesting a game Let's all have a vote Who's the odd one out Who will be the winner of a prize And you knew you were the loser Before they even rolled the dice There's endless repeats Going round in your head It's hard to accept that you can't raise the dead.. You were warm when the sun filled the sky You left tracks in the sand by the seaside You washed dishes and you wiped them dry You were gone in the blink of an eye And I didn't't even get to say it It's hard to accept that you can't raise the dead..

See you later I'm away About to make the great escape And leave you leaning on the car Seemingly knowing who you are And you don't always convince me And you don't always convince me Hello you better wake up Or you might find yourself in different places Yeah.. I don't care about the way The golden sunlight bathes your face And I don't care about your eyes You hair your lips & all the lies You don't always convince me And you don't always convince me Hello you better wake up Or you might find yourself in different places Yeah.. Anxious times lie ahead You thought you'd feel around instead To see what life can offer up You don't deserve your shocking luck You had to bear Yeah.. Nothing seems as it seems When you're dreaming.. Of a house On a road As you turn to gold On a road in a town As you turn.. Turn around Stand up & face me.. Hello you better wake up Or you might find yourself In different places Yeah..

The End 04:09
And when I sleep at night I will find you in my dreams somewhere You watched me wait for this I was that figure in the swirling mist And I still will be here Even though you're not here with me We tried and we failed That is so hard to say It's the truth all the same I'll bring you flowers When it's spring I hope you'll think of me I will bring a smile you'll be sure to never see me cry If we look we can see All our lives stretching out ahead We gave all we had 'Til we had nothing left Time takes care of the rest And then the rain came down But we sang anyhow.. Find a peace of mind I hope that you can stand and face the world this time And I'll walk a different way But you'll hold my heart until the final day The tears that we shed Are the tears that will save the world When nobody cared there would always be you There must always be you

Once you're committed You can't turn back Gotta make your decision And make it fast Gotta make your decision And make it fast Cos once you're committed You can't turn back When you're born you're born And when you die you die Yours was not to understand Yours was not to question why Better men than you were born And better men have tried To work it out They couldn't work it out no Cos once you're committed You can't turn back.. When you come you go And when you go you come You should not be criticised For things you haven't done Better men were victimised 'Til they slowly came undone They tried to work it out They couldn't work it out no Once you're committed You can't turn back.. Once you're committed You can't turn back.. You can't turn You can't turn back No more..

What is there left to say? When you've said everything That there is to say Except to say it all again Where does it all stem from? Where is it leading to? Is a life a circular thing? Or will it be concluded? Why should I care for things That I haven't seen? Why should I be for people Who can't be for me? Is there a basic flaw in my chemistry? So what if there is! What if I never find What I think I want? What if I never want What I think i found? What if my head explodes? What if my mind expands? What if I just sit down And refuse to stand? What is there left to say..?

about

The Whistleblowers originally formed in the early 90's and hung around for about a decade, playing venues throughout the north west. We reformed with the original line-up in 2014, with only a vague plan to see how things go and to move forward at a steady bimble. We're currently working on our second album which was recorded partly at 80 Hertz Studios in Manchester.

This album, Halluciagenia is culmination of about 18 months work which began in June 2016 & a single session at LP Studios, Stockport. There we put down 9 tracks. Our plan was to then use the drums we recorded there & record the vocals, guitars etc at home ourselves & slowly build towards the finished production.

Four of the tracks, Fired, Goodbye Mr Simpson, Can't Raise the Dead & The End, we previously recorded back in the day. All the other tracks have never been recorded before.
